The UrFU campus construction project involves the formation of a powerful scientific and educational cluster, where the SESC students, University students, graduate students, postgraduates, and University partners will be able to share a common environment that will form the University community of the future.
It is implemented within the framework of the national project “Science and Universities”.
Second phase of the UrFU campus
Implementation period: 2022 to 2025.
Construction of three academic buildings with a total area of 100,200 sq.m.
Engineering School of Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Control Systems
Total area of the academic building – 40,300 sq.m.
Total area of the land plot – 5.7 hectares
Estimated number of students – 4,100
It will host:
Lecture halls, a complex of laboratories, rooms for independent and project work of the students
The Center of Russian Computing Technologies
The Youth Design Center of Radioelectronic Systems
A canteen with a 600-seat dining hall

Graduate School of Economics and Management
Total area of the academic building – 35,900 sq.m.
Total area of the land plot – 5.8 hectares
Estimated number of students – 3,600
It will host:
Classrooms, laboratories, transformable auditoriums
A conference hall with a capacity of 500 people
A canteen with a 500-seat dining hall
A library with a co-working space

Specialized Educational and Scientific Center (SESC UrFU)
Total area of the academic building – 24,000 sq.m.
Total area of the land plot – 6.8 hectares
Estimated number of students – 900
It will host:
Multipurpose classrooms, research laboratories, educational observatory
An assembly hall for 675 people
A library with a stack-room and a reading room
Administrative, utility, medical blocks
A canteen with a 600-seat dining hall
The following sports grounds will be located in the territory of the Education and Scientific Center:
− 40x60 m soccer field
− running tracks
− outdoor tennis court 36x18 m
− sports grounds 58х18 m (2 pcs) and 28х18 m
